was born,

"FRIESENNERZ" is the name given to a type of rainwear that has been popular since around 1970—originally known as "oilskins," a waterproof garment designed for commercial fishermen and sailors.
Classically yellow—a high-visibility color at sea—and featuring flaps over large pockets, this rain jacket defies wind, weather, and fleeting fashion trends alike.
As a tribute, we at LECONTE CHOCOLATIERS® created the FRIESENNERZKUGEL®; thanks to its rum content, it offers a heart-warming treat, especially when enjoyed amidst a stormy breeze.
